If you&#8217;re looking for serious genealogical content, move to the next post.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t understand &#8220;having a favorite ancestor.&#8221; The concept of favorite does not make any sense to me.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t have a favorite ancestor any more than I have a favorite child.<\/p>\n<p>I do have some who have been more of a research challenge than others. I do have some that I have researched more than others, but that&#8217;s usually because they have fewer descendants, been more difficult to research, or have been less well documented. I want to tell their stories because the stories of some of the others have already been told.<\/p>\n<p>But a favorite?
