This &#8220;Declaration for a Widow&#8217;s Pension&#8221; signed by Nancy \u00a0lists the two underage children who were living with her at the time of the declaration.<\/p>\n<p>The question is:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>What is Orpha&#8217;s middle name?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The rest is fairly legible.<\/p>\n<p>Including the detail about precisely where she was married&#8211;the home of William Newman.<\/p>\n<p><em>Readers who may know what the middle name could be are encouraged to post it in the comments.
