She married Clark Sargent in Ontario, Canada, and later married Asa Landon in Winnebago County, Illinois. Some things I have learned from Mary&#8217;s life:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>don&#8217;t move away from all your family<\/em>. It makes it extremely difficult if you die with young children. It also makes it more difficult for your descendants to track you.<\/li>\n<li><em>step-fathers make it easy for children to hide<\/em>. When a researcher is unaware that an known ancestor&#8217;s unknown mother married after the father died it makes it difficult to trace that family.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/rootdig.genealogytipoftheday.com\/?page_id=2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?hl=en&amp;q=https:\/\/rootdig.genealogytipoftheday.com\/?page_id%3D2&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1494697894038000&amp;usg=AFQjCNEf9g_7pi4nxUPTyRY1p0WsWwDZfg\">My ancestor table<\/a> can be viewed on my site.
