I have an earlier edition of this book but decided to go ahead and purchase this new one. Researchers who have been around genealogy for a while are usually familiar with Greenwood&#8217;s book. It&#8217;s been used as a textbook in genealogy courses for some time. In fact, I used it as a text in courses I taught years ago.<\/p>\n<p>The book focuses on how records were recorded and maintained and the research process. It&#8217;s not a guide to citation. There are other books for that.
