Newman in Prairie Township, Hancock County, Illinois, there are only five individuals in his household&#8211;all of them named Newman.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8440\" src=\"https:\/\/rootdig.genealogytipoftheday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/1870-william-newman-prairie.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"581\" height=\"569\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rootdig.genealogytipoftheday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/1870-william-newman-prairie.jpg 581w, https:\/\/rootdig.genealogytipoftheday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/1870-william-newman-prairie-300x294.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 581px) 100vw, 581px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Yet when one looks at the actual enumeration for William, it&#8217;s clear there are two others in the household: Oscar Williamson and Sarah E.
