Today’s Genealogy Tip of the Day was about picking one point in time and determining which of your ancestors was alive on that date, where they were living, and what “life stage” they were in. It’s been a while since I’ve done that myself, so I’m going to pick a date of my own.
3 June 1640 is entirely too early.
1 April 1880 will be a little easier to manage. From memory, I have the following ancestors who were living on that date–with probable locations and a few reminders to myself–so this is a work in progress:
