Sometimes one wonders about Ancestry.com and the proofreaders they have in their database department. The “browse this collection” screen refers to the individuals congregations as “School Districts” in their “U.S., Evangelical Lutheran Church in America Church Records, 1781-1969”
Oops.
And these oopsies always make me wonder what other irregularities are sitting there that I simply don’t notice.
