FamilySearch recently released an update of their “United States, GenealogyBank Obituaries, 1980-2014.” The database serves as an indexing and finding aid to material on the GenealogyBank site.
Subscribers to GenealogyBank may still wish to use the FamilySearch database to search for items in “United States, GenealogyBank Obituaries, 1980-2014” instead of, or in addition to, the GenealogyBank search interface. The FamilySearch interface provides the user with more flexibility.
This alternate way to search material at GenealogyBank only applies to the obituaries during the 1980-2014 time period and not to other materials on the GenealogyBank site.
