Geography matters. Reading matters.
Ancestry.com announced an update of their yearbook collection.

As usual it is difficult to have any real clue what has been added, what’s been refined, and whether updates have been made to the index. It’s just been updated.

Apparently Ancestry.com still has not discovered that the yearbooks they have online are for the Bowen High School in Chicago, Illinois, not Bowen High School in Bowen, Illinois. The yearbooks online make the location fairly clear where it says “Bowen High School, Chicago, Illinois.”

 

Disappointing for me as I wanted the yearbooks for Bowen High School in Bowen, Illinois, as that’s where my great-aunt graduated from in the late 1920s.

But I just wish Ancestry.com  would get the locations right.
