My copy of Advanced Genetic Genealogy: Techniques and Case Studies, edited by Debbie Parker Wayne has arrived.

We will be discussing it in bits and pieces as I have time to go through it and actually read it. It’s not meant to be read from page 1 through the end, although one could certainly read it that way. It’s also not for those who have just taken a DNA test, who have barely looked at their results, or who have not yet realized that you don’t have the exact same amount of DNA from each of your great-grandparents.

But there appears to be quite a bit of good discussion and analysis included in it’s pages and if you think you’ve maximized what you can from your results so far, it might be worth a look.

We’ll have more comments, discussion and thoughts as I have time to work through it.
