How updated this is I can’t say, but town records are a wonderful source for Vermont research.

I have used this site with great success in locating my wife’s ancestral families here in Vermont. Looking at the original records removes the transcription and copying errors that sometimes find their way into the records copied by town clerks and submitted to the state in later years. I just wish that the handwriting of all the town clerks in the records was as clear and legible as the best of them!
